The new year is getting off to an exceptional start for Razzamataz Theatre Schools after a challenging two years of lockdowns and restrictions. We are delighted to be welcoming back franchisees to their annual Conference to be held in the heart of theatreland. After the pandemic forced the franchise network to meet remotely last year, the team are excited to be hosting an event full of inspiring speakers at the Prince of Wales Theatre on 1st February.
The Conference will mark an exceptional year for Razzamataz, including multiple new school launches and being named as Best Franchise in the WorkBuzz Best Franchise Awards, sponsored by Lloyds Bank. This is in addition to the Lifetime Achievement Award, Top 100 Franchises, Top 100 most influential businesswoman, 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction Award and 5 Star Continuous Improvement Award.
Razzamataz Reconnecting Rainbow
“We are delighted to once again host a Conference for our franchisees and what better venue than in the heart of theatreland,” says Denise Hutton-Gosney, MD and Founder of Razzamataz. “We have got an amazing line up of speakers who will inspire and motivate our franchisees and ensure that they are offering the best performing arts schools in their communities.”
The theme of this year’s Conference is ‘Razzamataz Reconnecting Rainbow’. The last two years have meant working remotely and distant from each other, but that now needs to change so we continue to build back better and stronger than before. Everyone’s behaviour has greatly changed so it is important that we address this and look at ways in which we can find ways to best suit our franchisees, teams of teachers, students, families, and their communities.
Inspirational speakers
Razzamataz has invested in bringing together a team of amazing speakers, giving franchisees access to professionals across the business and performing arts industries. This is one of the many benefits of being part of a franchise, the opportunity to participate in top level training free of charge, which will help every individual to grow their own business.
“The pandemic has been very hard for our industry, but these wonderful franchisees have been superstars and our schools are back stronger than before,” adds Denise. “As well as looking back on the year, I’m so excited to be talking about our plans for 2022 and beyond and just celebrating the amazing network we have at Razzamataz.”

New for 2022
The Conference provides the perfect platform to announce all the exciting new initiatives for 2022, the first of which kicks off the day after Conference with a Business Review hosted by Hayley Limpkin.
Coaching is an important part of the support offered for all franchisees at Razzamataz. As well as Hayley joining the Head Office support team, there will be coaching and support with prolific speaker and growing media personality Adam Stott, Founder of Big Business Events. Pauline Write Coaching will be continuing to provide franchisees with practical and ongoing mentoring and Coconut Creatives will be advising on social media strategy, a crucial part of growing a theatre school.
The Head Office team continues to expand with a new retail manager, creative coach, admin and marketing assistant via the Kickstart Scheme and the Franchise Advisory Council expands with new members.
Razzamataz is delighted to be bringing back performing opportunities for students with the launch of the West End gala performance at the Shaftesbury Theatre. This is in addition to many masterclasses with professional performers and for Principals, new webinars, and continued investment in BMS Club Manager.
“Two new exciting additions for this year is the pilot and launch of the Razzamataz Training Academy, training up the next generation of teachers and potential theatre school owners and the All Stars Academy, for franchisees looking to take their business to the next level,” adds Denise.
