Meet the Principal
Charlotte Olivares
Charlotte Olivares, Principal of Razzamataz Maidstone, leads with passion, creativity, and a deep commitment to empowering young people. Since launching in 2011, Razzamataz Maidstone has grown into an award-winning theatre school, built on dedication, teamwork, and a strong sense of community. Charlotte’s love for performing arts began at an early age, touring with the Kent County Choir at just eight years old. She later earned a degree in Performing Arts and gained extensive experience in technical theatre, stage management, and education. Her expertise, combined with a passion for child psychology and youth mental health, has shaped Razzamataz Maidstone into more than just a theatre school—it’s a space where young people develop confidence, resilience, and self-belief. Beyond the stage, Charlotte is a strong advocate for mental health and self-expression. Her experience as an Early Years Key Worker, her personal therapy journey, and her role as a mum to her two daughters, have fuelled her commitment to supporting young people. She mentors students, guiding them through personal challenges with drama therapy and tailored support. Under Charlotte’s leadership, Razzamataz Maidstone has not only won prestigious awards but has also been recognised as a finalist for “Community Business of the Year” and “Leader of the Year.” These accolades reflect the school’s dedication to high-quality tuition and its positive impact on the local community. Charlotte’s mission is simple: to inspire young people to embrace their individuality, recognise their worth, and feel confident in who they are—right now. “I don’t want today’s young people to wait until their 30s to feel confident in their own skin like I did. My mission is to empower them to see, understand, and love their unique qualities today.”
