Meet the Principal
Rebecca Jagger-Rowden
From a young age, Rebecca had a deep love for the performing arts, starting ballet and tap classes at just four years old. Growing up in Plymouth, she embraced every opportunity to perform, including roles in Hobson’s Choice with the Birmingham Royal Ballet and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Bill Kenwright’s production at Theatre Royal Plymouth. These experiences, along with her performing arts training, helped shape her into the confident and hardworking person she is today. Rebecca went on to train in Musical Theatre at Northbrook College in West Sussex before furthering her skills at the London School of Musical Theatre. She has performed as a singer, dancer, and actor in a variety of professional and amateur stage, TV, and film productions over the years. Passionate about sharing her love for the arts, Rebecca pursued a PGCE in Secondary Drama and has spent almost eight years teaching in schools across Devon and Torbay. She finds immense joy in helping young people grow in confidence and express themselves through performance. Now, as the proud Principal of Razzamataz Theatre Schools Plymouth, Rebecca is dedicated to providing top-quality performing arts training for children and young people. She takes great pride in the incredible Razz Plymouth family—amazing students, supportive parents, and an outstanding team of teachers. Through exciting opportunities like performing in the West End and Disneyland, Rebecca is committed to nurturing talent, building confidence, and creating unforgettable experiences for her students. Alongside her role at Razzamataz, Rebecca is also a devoted mother to her two children, Lily and Zach, who both love attending Razz!
