Razzamataz to host PAW Patrol workshops
Keep the toddlers calm because we can announce some big news. The network of UK theatre schools has teamed up with a Channel 5 favourite to offer PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure workshop.
About the workshop
The workshop is led by Claire McKenzie who has recently toured the UK and all parts of the world including Asia and New Zealand with Paw Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure arena tour playing the role of Skye. It’s Pirate Day in Adventure Bay, and Mayor Goodway is getting ready for a big celebration. But first, Ryder and his team of pirate pups must rescue Cap’n Turbot from a mysterious cavern. When they do, they also discover a secret pirate treasure map. The PAW Patrol set out over land and sea to find the treasure for Mayor Goodway’s celebration before Mayor Humdinger finds it first. The pups will need all paws on deck for this pirate adventure!
The one hour fun-packed workshop will include a short dance routine to the PAW Patrol theme tune and learning about the different characters and their catchphrases. The children will then embark on an imaginative journey, figuring out clues and following the treasure map to find the pirate treasure. Along the way they will board a pirate ship, go deep sea diving and get stuck in quicksand. Through the medium of performing arts, they will be on a race to make it to the treasure chest in time.
Meet Claire
Claire is delighted to be returning to the Razz family having been a teacher at Razzamataz Maidstone for almost four years teaching Tots all the way up to the older students in Project Intense.
“I can say that I absolutely love teaching Razz students. Watching them grow in confidence just by making sure they are having fun whilst learning is a true joy to see.”
“Within my workshops, students will be able to push their imagination and learn about familiar characters from a popular TV show, which has been turned into a live stage show.”
“As well as bringing my knowledge of the show to the workshop, I also bring vast experience on how to engage and get the best out of young children.”
The collective power of the franchise network has led to incredible opportunities for both Principals and their students. The PAW Patrol workshop is just one in a huge variety of workshops that Razzamataz offer. It’s a huge part of the theatre school’s ethos to have professional performers visit the schools and inspire the students. Razzamataz has many contacts with industry professionals so franchisees don’t necessarily have to have a performing arts background to be able to offer these experiences to their own students.
Join our franchise
The main Razzamataz school offers a wide range of performing arts styles for youngsters aged 4-18 including current trends that are accessible to children and teenagers. Razzamataz Early Years Franchise consists of a brand-new product called Razz Tiny Tots, which is a class especially designed for babies (to they start walking) and their parent/carers. It also includes the established products of Razz Tots for children walking to age three and Razz Minis for those age four to six.
“One of the many benefits of joining a franchise is the opportunity to offer experiences that many independent schools would be unable to provide.”
“We have worked with West End stars such as Kerry Ellis, street dance crew Diversity from Britain’s Got Talent and many more. The power of a recognised brand makes it much easier for our franchisees to secure these exceptional opportunities.”
