Razzamataz Theatre Schools has been shortlisted in the Lifestyle Franchisor category of the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards.
Razzamataz was established in 2000 and was backed in 2007 by BBC’s Dragons’ Den. Today franchising is allowing the brand to achieve their dream, because it gives the finest talent across the country the opportunity to own and manage a successful business whilst following a tried and tested system. It also means their franchisees can set up their school on their own doorstep, and bring their passion, talent and commitment to the young people of the local area. Making performing arts available to all young people no matter their background or circumstances.
Known as the ‘Oscars’ of the franchising industry and set to take place on 24 November in Birmingham, the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards evening is the flagship event in the franchising calendar and finalists are definitely ones to watch.
This year saw a record number of entries submitted across all categories, leading to an overall increase versus 2021. Despite what continues to be challenging times for most independent businesses, the franchising sector has shown strength and resilience. As a result, many bfa members have reported strong financial performance and continue to build strong, healthy networks.
Razzamataz will be battling it out against three other franchise brands to take home the coveted Lifestyle Franchisor accolade.
Becoming a finalist in this category is recognition that you don’t have to be financially rich in business to provide big business opportunities to positively impact lives in franchising, these franchisors have built fantastic brand from the ground up and continue to thrive through strong connectivity and positive culture.
Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchising Association, congratulated category finalists:
“It is fantastic to see franchising grow in all directions, providing huge opportunities for all. Diversity is represented well across the sector and our finalists are opening doors to people from all walks of life, ages and backgrounds. Gillian Morris, Head of Franchising, HSBC, said:
