Razzamataz Awards 2018

Be in it to win it!

Whether it is the Tony Awards or the Emmy Awards or even the Oscars, awards are just as important to any business as they are to an individual actor or filmmaker.

Razzamataz Principals at the annual Conference

Think about how often we make a decision based on other people’s opinions. How many people book a holiday first without visiting a review site or purchase an electronic item without reading a testimonial first.

Third party endorsements are the icing on the cake to make your brand stand out from the competition. Here are just some of the reasons why you should consider getting involved:

Profile: Awards make your business much more visible. In an overcrowded marketplace, that Award could be the one thing that persuades a customer to try you first.

Validation: Winning or being nominated for an Award gives that third-party endorsement that helps to put you at the front of your industry.

Loyalty: Not only will winning an Award put you in a good position with new customers, it will also show your current customers that their faith and loyalty in you is justified.

Every year at the national Conference for Razzamataz, we celebrate the success of our Principals, schools and their teams with a number of Awards. A recent addition has been the Creative Awards, which are judged by industry experts.

This year we are delighted to welcome two judges from the worlds of musical theatre and dance. Robert Hamilton has a huge amount of experience in both the musical theatre and commercial genres. West End credits include, CATS, playing the lead Mr. Mistoffelees and FAME with the added responsibility of being Dance Captain. Robert’s commercial work includes The Brit Awards with Robbie Williams, Stars in Your Eyes, The Royal Variety Performance and Hyde Park with Kimberley Wyatt. Robert also runs dance schools in Scotland and has had students who have successfully appeared on various TV shows such as Britain’s Got Talent.

Jennifer Tierney has an impressive musical theatre CV having appeared in Mamma Mia, Wicked, Chess, Jerry Springer The Opera, Godspell and Live From The London Palladium to name just a few.

Helen Bell, Principal of Razzamataz Sheffield

Both Jennifer and Robert will be judging our five Creative Awards:

And the winners said
Helen Bell, Principal of Razzamataz Sheffield was crowned Most Outstanding School as well as scooping Best Team Member and Business Builder in the 2017 Awards.
“I’m incredibly proud to be bringing all these awards back to our team of dedicated students, teachers and staff,” says Helen. “I witness their hard work and dedication every Saturday during class time so it is really lovely that they have been recognised in these national awards. It is the commitment of everyone involved with Razzamataz Sheffield that has allowed our students to flourish and achieve some hugely memorable experiences. This is everyone’s award; our students for their commitment and for inspiring us every single week, to our teachers for their passion and sheer dedication to the school and to our parents for supporting us in everything we do.”

Amanda Campbell, Principal of Razzamataz Paisley

Amanda Campbell, Principal of Razzamataz Paisley was awarded Most Outstanding Showcase Award in 2016.
