Razzamataz takes to the high seas
Opportunities for students that attend a Dragons’ Den backed theatre school franchise just keep getting better and better. Principals and Head Office staff have just returned from a visit to the MSC Preziosa in the port of Southampton to announce their latest venture.
Razz at Sea
Razzamataz Theatre Schools are offering a new event called Razz at Sea.
Throughout 2021, students and their families get to enjoy a dream holiday with a special twist that allows students to take part in a showcase performance up to four times during their stay. They will perform on board to not only their families but also to an international audience, giving them an insight into being a cast member. For any student looking to work professionally, this is an incredible experience into the life of a performer, further enhanced with a Q&A with the ship’s cast.
“As a professional dancer, one of my most memorable jobs was performing on a world cruise on the MS Astor in 1995. I visited many countries that I could only have dreamt of such as Papa New Guinea and we sailed through the Panama Canal and equator as well as visiting both New Zealand and Australia.”
Denise Hutton-Gosney, MD and Founder of Razzamataz.
The chance to perform on the ship will be a unique opportunity to understand the life of a professional performer and will be a lasting memory for all taking part.
“As a teenager, having this sort of opportunity would have been incredible and we hope it really inspires some of the students to think about their options for the future, either as a performer or some of the many other jobs you can do onboard or overseas.”
There will be a huge choice of ships all departing on different dates and all visiting many different countries including popular choices such as Venice or Rome as well as more exotic destinations such as Dubai.
A group of Head Office staff and Principals visited the ship to hear more about this fantastic opportunity for students. As well as a tour of the ship, they got to find out more about the whole experience for students and what they can expect to get out of it.
Why join a franchise?
Being part of a successful franchise network allows Principals the chance to offer students these amazing opportunities. Razzamataz prides itself on creating special memories for the whole family and this experience is just one of a number that are planned for the foreseeable future.
One of the most enjoyable in 2017 was a performance and holiday event at Disneyland® Paris. Due to the overwhelming success, schools are heading back to Disney in November 2020, but this time with well over 1,000 people.
“From performing at Her Majesty’s Theatre and London’s 02 to these overseas experiences, we know we are giving students and their families life-long memories. The power of our successful network and brand allows Principals the chance to offer their students these amazing events and really helps them to build the success of their own business.”
