When: Saturday’s during term time
Where: Our classes run from The Whitehaven Academy in Whitehaven.
What is required?
– Experience teaching and/or working with children and young people
– A caring nature, a natural affinity with children and a mature and responsible attitude.
– A passion for teaching performing arts to children aged 2-8 years.
– Aptitude for creating and coordinating fresh, innovative material for termly presentations, public performances and our annual showcase.
– Relatable, punctual, organised and committed team player.
– A passion for excellent customer service
– Ability to HAVE FUN!
What is involved?
– Weekly lesson planning.
– Delivering awesome classes and coordinating Dance, Drama and Singing pieces for shows and presentations.
– Attending team meetings and contributing ideas for the forthcoming term.
– Supporting with our Easter and Summer schools as appropriate.
– Providing weekly feedback on classes and progress of students to the Principal.

Job type: Part-time – Saturday’s during term time with occasional hours outside of contracted hours.
Renumeration: Competitive rates dependent on qualifications and experience.
