Workshops
At Razzamataz, we believe in learning from the best. Our specialist workshops give students a real-world insight into the exhilarating world of performing arts, led by top industry professionals who have been there, done it, and continue to thrive in the business.
Whether students dream of a career in the performing arts or simply want to expand their horizons, these workshops provide invaluable experiences, building confidence, creativity, and ambition. Meeting professionals who have performed on West End stages, toured internationally, or worked in TV and film gives students access to inspiring role models who can ignite their passion, both on and off the stage.
From high-energy dance masterclasses to behind-the-scenes acting workshops, we’ve welcomed some of the best in the industry to share their knowledge, skills, and career journeys. Here are just a few of the incredible guest workshops our students have experienced.
Dancing with Diversity
Razzamataz students were given the opportunity to train with Ashley Banjo (Dancing on Ice) as well as other famous Diversity names including Perri and Jordan. As well as learning choreography that featured in one of the Diversity tours, the students were also able to participate in a Q&A, were treated to a visit to the studios and looked at costumes from their sell out arena shows.
West End Workshops
Stars from London’s West End regularly visit Razzamataz schools across the UK, delivering exclusive masterclasses that give students a deeper understanding of musical theatre. These industry professionals bring their first-hand experience from hit shows, teaching students authentic techniques in singing, dancing, and acting, offering a rare opportunity to train with some of the best in the business.

Oti Mabuse
She’s the twice reigning champion of Strictly Come Dancing, judge on Dancing on Ice and The Greatest Dancer and has a huge social media following. Razzamataz was delighted to welcome Oti who led an exclusive guest workshop and shared her expert choreography, insider industry tips, and an inspiring journey from dancer to TV star.
Kerry Ellis
From the West End to Broadway, Kerry Ellis has starred in some of the most iconic shows, including being the first British Elphaba in the West End smash, Wicked as well as achieving chart-topping success as a recording artist. Kerry worked with our students to create a masterclass in singing and performing, giving students a unique insight into the life of a professional performer who has achieved a huge level of success.
